The energy levels of TRS leaders and various organisations peaked up on Wednesday with festivities marking the birthday of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s 67th birthday on Wednesday. Social media platforms today flooded with birthday wishes from fans, followers, leaders and celebrities.
While a large number of people including Tollywood actors joined hands for Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Kumar’s ambitious initiative of ‘Koti Vriksharchana’, others local leaders organised service activities like blood donation camps, distribution of fruits and serving food to the needy.
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, on the other hand, offered a 2 kg-gold saree for goddess Yellamma at a temple in Hyderabad along with KCR’s daughter & Member of Legislative Council Kavita which left the internet in awe.
In what is speculated as an act to please the TRS supremo, minister Talsani offered prayers at a gurudwara in Hyderabad’s Ameerpet minutes after which he was spotted performed rituals at the Ujjaini Mahakali temple. At 9:45 am, Talasani Yadav prayed at Hyderabad’s Clock Tower church. About 30 minutes later, he was at the Nampally dargah, offering a chadar.
Celebrations were held at Jalavihar on Necklace Road where a 3D documentary on the life and times of KCR was aired.
