The KCR-led Telangana government on Monday has finally announced the PRC for employees and teachers who have been waiting for the news for almost two years.
Announcing that the government has decided to increase the retirement age of employees to 61 years, the state government today announced that they would take up inter-district transfers and interspousal transfers on a priority basis.
In long-awaited news, the CMO stated that it would give around 30 per cent PRC to the employees. Formulating new guidelines for medical care to benefit employees, the government claimed to reduce the age for an additional pension of 15 per cent for retired employees from 75 years to 70 years. Besides which the government granted 180 days of paid maternity leave for working women.
The guidelines which would come into effect from April 1, 2021, the government also announced it would release the 12 months pending arrears along with the retirement benefits will be announced as soon as possible. The gratuity of employees is also increased from 12 lakhs to 16 lakhs.
