BJP state president Bandi Sanjay said that with the increase in the electricity and RTC fares, an unbearable burden is being placed on the people of Telangana. “KCR is creating new dramas in the name of buying grain to divert the real issues of price hikes in the state. Large-scale corruption and irregularities in grain purchases are taking place. State ministers, TRS MLAs, and party leaders were involved,” said Bandi. He challenged chief minister KCR to give a green signal to the CBI inquiry into the whole affair if he is really confident about being honest.
“KCR is criticizing the Center for raising petrol and diesel prices. If he really has any love for the people, he should immediately reduce the price of the vehicle fuels like petrol and diesel to Rs 80. He alleged that the CM was in the habit of buying votes and seats at the cost of thousands of crores of rupees and sending bundles of money to other states,” said Bandi demanding the CM to buy the grains from the farmers instead of buying the votes and seats with that kind of money.
Further, Bandi added, “KCR is number one in lies. If he keeps telling lies at this pace, in the end even if he tells truth, people will not believe him at all. KCR must learn to solve the problems in the state, or simply get ready to face the outrage from people. The ministers, who went to Delhi, said the CM had no intention of resolving the issue. He criticized the TRS government for not being able to buy grains from farmers. Realizing that he had done something wrong, KCR is now looking to discredit the BJP by blaming them for his mistake.”

TRS has denied allegations that the Center is conspiring to privatize the Singareni company. Bandi questioned how it was possible to privatize the company without the approval of the state government, which has the largest stake in Singareni. Bandi declared that all these statements from KCR are blatant lies and KCR is playing gimmicks to discredit the BJP as the Singareni elections are coming soon.
