AICC Kisan Congress Vice President Kodanda Reddy once again criticized CM KCR. He said that in 2022, KCR’s government has stolen the farmers’ interest. He said that the KCR government did not care about the hardships of the farmers that the farmers worked continuously even in the face of the COVID crisis and that farmers in the state have faced a lot of difficulties.
This year, the government did not buy paddy, so the farmers suffered severely. He lamented that KCR’s promise of loan waiver has not yet been implemented. He said that the government has not taken steps to stop farmer suicides and the funds allocated for agriculture in the budget have been limited to juggling numbers.
He said that the government has failed in cleansing the land records and justice has been done to the landlords with the Dharani portal. He said that injustice is being done to the small farmers and the farmer’s relatives are also getting help for the uncultivated lands. He said that the farmers are facing various difficulties as they are not getting compensation for crop loss.
