With Dubbaka by-polls fast approaching, the political circles in the state heated up and the war-of-words between the political parties in the fray are no small deal. Taking cue of the situation, BJP which is trying to strengthen its base in Telugu states blazed on guns on TRS and the Chief Minister over the funds allowed for pensions.
Addressing the on-going revelations, the Chief Minister at Kodakandla Rythu Vedika platform threw an open challenge to the BJP leaders over the pension funds. Clarifying that the pensions are being issued only from the state treasury, KCR refuted the reports that centre funds are being misused.
“I am ready to tender my resignation if the above allegations are proved true. 38,64,751 beneficiaries in Telangana are receiving a pension of Rs 2,016 everyone while we are receiving Rs 105 crores from central government,” he further said.
On this note, KCR also urging the farmers of the state to stand firm against the farm bills introduced by the Modi government. It can be recalled that KCR accused the Central government of treating state governments like beggars forcing the bills.
