Corona cases are being registered heavily every day in Telangana. Not only the general public but also the police and doctors who are fighting directly against the corona as front-line warriors have been increasingly affected by the corona recently. Vijayashanti, a BJP leader, criticized the government for failing to bind the state in this situation. She alleged that the KCR government was acting recklessly while the corona cases in Telangana were increasing day by day and disturbing the people. She flagged that it was shameful for the government to lie that the first dose was 100 percent complete and the second dose 80 percent complete without speeding up the vaccination process.
Vijayashanti was incensed that the government was focusing on liquor sales while the COVID condition in the state is in very bad shape. In addition to the general public in the state, medical personnel is also suffering from the corona. Prime Minister Modi asked KCR to tell why he did not attend the video conference he organized to discuss the COVID condition with the CMs of all the states. She lamented that the government has completely ignored the high court’s order on conducting at least one lakh tests every day. She added that KCR will wake up only when the Highcourt will respond with some serious action. She said health workers are now being run under the name of Fever Survey.
They felt that the lack of even masks and sanitizers was atrocious. Vijayashanthi said there was already a shortage of medical personnel in the state. Allegedly not filling vacancies unless spending time with existing ones. She recalled that CM KCR had declared that there are over 10 thousand posts vacant in the Health Department in the state.
Vijayashanti criticized the government for delaying taking any steps to replace them and for failing to provide better medical care to the poor in government hospitals. KCR, who boasted that there would be no contract and outsourcing system if Telangana was formed, finally ended up giving the contract jobs even with the medical professors. She expressed optimism that the people of Telangana will ous the Chief Minister in the forthcoming elections.
