While the state is ablaze with a series of agitations from the employee unions across the state, the person who is claimed to be the official first citizen of the state and the supremo of the state chose to remain secluded rather having a meetup. Termed as the first meet after the swear-in ceremony of the governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and the cabinet extension on September 8th, the governor and the Chief Minister KCR are planned to meet to discuss the state scenario.
The Raj Bhavan corridors are rife with rumours that the RTC strike and privatisation of routes in the state would be the main agenda of the meet. CM KCR is said to meet the Governor at Raj Bhavan at 3 PM on Monday. The government which is planning to convene the Assembly’s Winter Sessions soon is likely to discuss the new revenue law. The meeting took prominence amidst the agitations from the employees and unions of RTC and revenue. The respective association heads have already met with the governor and put forth their demands and objections. On this note, political fraternities are eagerly waiting for the Governor go on the stubborn attitude over the RTC strike despite the repetitive urges of High court.
