BJP state president Bandi Sanjay said, “Until now, no work has begun on the Koil Sagar Canal, it reminds me of a scene in the classic Telugu movie called Ahana Pellanta”. On the 19th day of the Praja Sangrama Yatra, a meeting was held at Ramakishtayya Palleda after the walk was carried forward over the Manipur Tanda in the Narayanpeta constituency. The BJP flag was unveiled along with party leaders at Ramakishtayyapalle. He then addressed the people there. KCR has been criticized for not doing any work unless it is for its own benefit.
Sanjay said if the Koil Sagar canal is properly used for irrigation, the farmers might even end up yielding double the crops they are doing now in the surrounding area, including Ramakishtayyapalle. He was incensed that the CM’s promise to complete the work in the last election was completely unfulfilled. He criticized that the interests of the farmers will never be considered unless they are of benefit to KCR. Bandi said that unless KCR provides 300 acres of land in the area, it is not possible to undertake any work here. He said that the CM would do things only when he is able to make thousands of crores of rupees as commissions.
“Employment workers are not being paid for 3 months. The Center is paying Rs 270 per employment worker. KCR is conspiring not to put that money in the workers’ accounts. KCR is spreading rumors about providing clean water to households through ‘Mission Bhagiratha’ while people are struggling to get water for cultivation and drinking. If the TRS leaders visit the region, this time, let them know that there is no water,” he called on the people.
While the center is ready to provide the rationed rice for free for another 5 months to the poor, KCR is trying to avoid that,” said Bandi Sanjay. He declared that BJP should come to power to big goodbye to the KCR’s regime.
