No matter which district Telangana CM KCR goes to, it has become common to arrest the leaders and victims of the opposition parties there. Police are making pre-emptive arrests because of local issues and every time there are protests questioning KCR’s fulfillment of promises. Recently CM is going on a visit to Nizamabad. In this background, the police arrested the leaders of the opposition parties and the victims of the villages that were submerged.
The police have preemptively arrested the BJP leaders of Met Pally town of Korutla constituency. Buses to Nizamabad have been canceled. Simultaneously, a notice board was set up at the bus stand. Due to this people are resorting to private vehicles. But, it is said that were slammed with high charges. The residents and locals are questioning the reasons and purpose of CM visiting their places and initiating unnecessary troubles for the locals.
In Nizamabad, some educational institutes are being given unofficial leave. The TRS leaders think that they have been blocked with the intention of transporting the people to the CM’s meeting and they have done this to transport the people with buses.
On the other hand, the leaders of the Manchippa Reservoir Submerged Villages Committee were also pre-arrested by the police. The victims are questioning what is the point of arresting them when they simply want to tell their grievances to the CM. They are not going to stop the movement until the re-design of Manchippa is canceled.
