The Anti-Corruption Bureau-Telangana(ACB) sleuths on Friday unearthed cash to the tune of Rs 1 crore 10 lakh cash in a flash raid conducted on Keesara MRO. Two real estate dealers engaged who are caught red-handed in illegal transactions were also taken under ACB scanner.
Into details, upon the tip-off from a credible source over cash transaction regarding land in Rampally, the ACB officials conducted a flash raid on the MRO’s residence on Friday night. The ACB sleuths reportedly were shocked with the tune of black money stocked underground while bundles of cash were also in the roof ceilings.
It was revealed that Erva Balraju Nagaraju (47) Tahsildar of Keesara along with real estate dealers Chowla Srinath (50) Real Estate dealer of Sri Satya Developers, Swaroop Nagar, Uppal and Kandadi Anji Reddy (40) engaged in cash transaction regarding a 28 Acres of land at Rampally Dayara.
The Tahsildar reportedly demanded a bribe of Rs 2 crore to issue pattadar passbook for the land which was under dispute earlier. While the officials are still digging into the atrocities of the officers, ACB is yet to release an official statement over the assets seized. The accused officer will be produced before the special judge for ACB cases after the entire raid is completed.
