Kodandaram, President of the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS), demanded that infrastructure be provided along with job vacancies in government universities in the state. He met party leaders at the TJC office in Hyderabad to discuss the decisions taken by the state cabinet. He alleged at the meeting that the TRS government has been supporting private universities and utterly ignoring government universities.
He severely criticized the government’s decision on canceling the interviews for Group-1 and 2 jobs. Kodandaram demanded that some matters regarding the Group-1 jobs must be left to TSPSC without any kind of involvement from the Cabinet. He said the decision taken by the government should be reconsidered.
He said all the decisions taken by the cabinet were against the welfare of the Telangana people. Kodandaram also said that the abolishment of 111 G.O would cause severe damage to the old city and he would campaign about it in the old city to empower people about the same. Kodandaram said the consequences would be severe if decisions were made without thinking about the twin reservoirs and the Musi river.
He criticized that the 111 G.O is being repealed just to boost real estate businesses of the people who are close to KCR. On one hand, the Center is raising petrol and diesel prices, while on the other hand, it is alleged that the state government is raising electricity tariffs. Kodandaram lashed out at the central and state governments for competing with each other in harassing people.
