TPCC chief Revanth Reddy has taken a key decision over the corruption in the recent sale of Kokapet, Khanamet lands by the Telangana government. Alleging that massive corruption had taken place in the tenders, the Congress MP sought an inquiry as he met the CBI director in Delhi.
He also alleged that the government had incurred a loss of Rs 1,000 crore due to this corruption as the projects were given in to the kin of CM KCR. Stating that he himself went to meet the director as he was reluctant to give appointments to others pertaining to COVID guidelines.
On this note, Revanth Reddy also stated that he sought the appointment of PM Modi and union minister Amit Shah over the same and would render the crucial evidence he has. The complaint also mentions how CS Somesh Kumar, IAS officers Jayesh Ranjan, Arvind Kumar and Siddipet Collector Venkatramireddy were involved in the atrocities along with KCR.
In his complaint to the CBI, Revanth Reddy alleged that the entire corruption scandal had benefited the My Home company, the Raj Pushpa Company owned by Venkatram Reddy and the brother of the Mehaboob Nagar TRS MP. Revanth alleged that the state government had spent over Rs 12.5 crore and paid an amount of Rs 50 crore for the central government’s land. The lands were reportedly allotted to the kin of KCR.
