Reuters’ reports over KIA motors is now literally taking the AP government to places..! The news that the South Korean automobile giant was planning to shift its 1 billion dollar plant from Andhra’s Anantapur to Tamil Nadu, shook the grounds of the ruling YSRCP which came out with a roll of clarifications from a number ministers. Though Tamil Nadu government and KIA Motors itself released official statements denying the reports, the Jagan-led government was left in deep embarrassment in the eyes of national media which already publish a couple of articles about the AP government driving away investments and projects with adamant policies.
However, the information from the trusted sources revealed that there had been a rift between the automobile company and the state government which perpetually triggered the rumours. It was also heard that KIA deliberately chose to remain tight-lipped from the past two days. Meanwhile, a G.O was issued by the CMO which granted permission to Mekapati Goutham Reddy, the minister for Industries, Commerce, & Information Technology for a two-day tour. This abrupt tour took prominence amidst the rumours that KIA authorities are discontent over the state government policies.

According to the information acquired by the Tolivelugu team, the minister has set an appointment with the KIA heads as a part of the Korean Investment Tour. While the state is already at doldrums with agitations against the three capital decision, seems like the government started corrective measures by directly deploying the ministers to please the companies who made up their minds to search for alternatives.
