IT Minister KTR said that the double bedroom housing scheme has been brought in like nowhere else in the country. He said that the government so far inaugurated 210 double bedroom houses built in Indira Nagar in the city. Speaking on the occasion, KTR said that the development in the Telangana state is possible only with TRS.
KTR added that CM KCR will inaugurate the double bedroom houses in Kollur in another week. He said it would cost lakhs alone to find a place in Khairatabad in the heart of the city.
Talking about further developments, KTR reminded that the GHMC has built a G5 floor in Indira Nagar at a cost of Rs 17.85 crore which constitutes double bedroom houses in 5 blocks. He said that many welfare schemes have been introduced for poor people. He explained that Hyderabad is developing day by day at a great pace.
“We are providing houses to the poor in the city at a cost of Rs 9,714 crore,” he said. It was suggested that not even a single rupee of bribe took place during the whole process of accomplishing this task. It was clarified that houses are being allotted through a lottery system in the presence of all. He explained that Rs 18,000 crore was being spent on double-bedroom houses for the poor across the state.
