The incident of a four-year-old boy being killed by stray dogs in Amberpet has become a sensation across the state. Minister KTR responded to this. He also said that his government will try to solve the problem of stray dogs in every municipality. Animal protection centers and animal birth control centers have also been set up for this purpose. He asked to protect the people and children of Hyderabad from the menace of stray dogs. He questioned what the GHMC is actually doing without taking action despite the repetition of such incidents. He said that such cases have been registered in the past, and if there is any issue, they respond and take action at that time, and then they escalate it later.
He questioned how the children and the elderly should go outside if the people are rabid. The GHMC officials responded and said that the dogs should be left in the forests.
