State IT Minister KTR said the ongoing development in Khammam Corporation should set an example for other corporations. The minister, who visited the Khammam district on Saturday, laid the foundation stone for various development programs. KTR inaugurated the Rs 11.75 crore cable-stayed bridge over Lakaram pond, the musical fountain at the pond, the Rs 2 crore nature park at Raghunathpalem, and the Telangana Sports Complex.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said that it was the intention of Minister Puwada Ajay to make Khammam district the number one district in the state. He hailed KCR as the epitome of sustainable development. Went on to give definitions like K means canals, C means ponds, and R means reservoirs. KTR gave a new meaning to KCR. He said the pond was greatly improved after the TRS came to power. He said hundreds of people regularly come to see the cable-stayed bridge over the pond.
He said it was natural for the opposition to criticize when good things were happening. He said that TRS was working tirelessly to show its commitment to development and welfare. However, KTR was outraged at some people spreading fabricated information and rumors. It is alleged that a leader in Khammam committed suicide by carrying out provocative activities against the people. Critics allege that attempts were made to impose his death on Minister Puvada as if they had shot him to cover up their mistake.

KTR went on to pose questions like ‘who is behind the ongoing protest of 25 crore Indian Muslim brothers in the country?. Why did such conditions arise in the country? Who is the cause of this? he asked. He also alleged the opposition parties of doing selfish politics to sway votes only in the name of caste and religion. KTR claimed that in a peaceful country like India, BJP is trying to provocate people and give rise to religious politics.
