An interesting incident took place in the Telangana Assembly. A war of counters between the ruling party and its pro-party is rare. That is what happened in today’s assembly. There was a fierce verbal war between Minister KTR and MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi. It seems that Akbaruddin was annoyed that ministers and MLAs did not appear along with the Leader of the House. He said that he had never seen such a gathering in his 25 years. He further bashed BRS leaders for having time to go to TV debates but no time to come to the House.
What did Akbaruddin say in the meeting?
Promises are made but not implemented. CM and Ministers do not meet us. If you show Cheprasi we will meet them. What about the metro rail in the old town? What is the condition of Osmania Hospital? Even if Urdu is a second language it is unfair. Decisions were taken arbitrarily in the BAC. The Leader of the House is not visible during the discussion. Ministers and MLAs are not seen in the House. BRS leaders who go to TV debates do not have time to come to the House?
It is not true that ministers are not available. It is not proper for a party with seven members to ask for more time. We allocate time for parties depending on the members. It is not proper for Akbaruddin to make comments without coming to BAC. Don’t speak angrily, give a meaningful answer. What is Owaisi’s relationship with the Leader of the House?
I am not a new member. I won as an MLA many times. We know how to use time. There should be a constitutional discussion. We have discussed this for hours in many meetings in the past. Never objected.
