Taking a dig at the four airlines IndiGo, Air India, Spicejet, and GoAir which indefinitely barred him from flying over heckling journalist Arnab Goswami, stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra posted his airport look from Mumbai airport. The comedian who frequently criticises the government and denounces its communal policies posted a photo of himself at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport with hashtag #lovevistara for following due process. His post which came to a hard hit to the other airlines welcomed a roll of comments in support of Kunal.
Followed by IndiGo’s tweet announcing the ban for six months tagging the Union minister for civil aviation Hardeep Puri and his ministry, Air India, GoAir and SpiceJet also made similar announcements. However, Vistara and Air Asia issued statements saying they wouldn’t ground the comedian without conducting an inquiry. It is to the known knowledge that Kunal has slapped the Indigo airlines with Rs 25 lakhs defamation suit for the mental pain and losses incurred by him on account of the cancellation of his scheduled shows.
