Guntur: While the state is ablaze with agitations around shifting the capital from Amaravati, MP TG Venkatesh has made yet another remark stirring up the hornet’s nest. He said that Kurnool will make a perfect capital and can be developed with minimal investment. Speaking to media at Guntur, he said that Kurnool has a lot of government-owned infrastructures necessary for that state’s capital. Venkatesh reaffirmed that changing the capital doesn’t intend to divide the state. He then demanded to declare Amaravati as a free zone. “Chandrababu failed to develop Rayalaseema in his five years of tenure,” he added. The BJP MP also revealed that Kurnool will soon house a huge project. However, the senior leader refused to reveal further details.
