In the Rangareddy district, where there are lands worth hundreds of crores, the encroachers are not leaving anything behind. Finally, government lands are also being exploited. Recently, the foundation stone laid by Minister Sabita Indra Reddy for the construction of a building for the disabled in Badungpet was seized and demolished. This incident has become the subject of local debate as to who will protect the common people from robbers when the foundation plaque of the place laid by the minister herself gets demolished.
Going into the details, the incident came to light late when the Municipal Commissioner of Maheswaram Constituency, Badung Pet, filed a complaint at Meerpet Police Station.
Nadargul Survey No. 78, 79 Marri Lakshmamma Layout Park on the 14th of last month, Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy laid the foundation stone for the construction of a building for the disabled. However, the Badungpet municipal commissioner said that unknown persons with the help of JCB demolished the stone plaque. Meerpet CI Mahender Reddy, who registered a case on this, started the investigation.
However, if the encroachers are politically motivated, they will demolish the government land and the stone plaque laid by the hands of ministers, and the locals are demanding that someone else should take action.
