Amaravati: Like never before, the TDP supremo has released a public statement asking the MLA who resigned to his candidature to assume back to his post. Hours after Gannavaram MLA Vallabaneni Vamsi rolled out his resignation citing the ‘harassment by YSRCP leaders and certain government officials’ as the reason, Chandrababu Naidu has appealed to the leader to rethink over his resignation. Vamsi has reportedly sent his resignation to the TDP chief through WhatsApp which came out amidst the rumours of Vamsi joining either BJP or YSRCP.
In his open call, Babu reaffirms that quitting politics is not the solution to stop the harassment and vindictive political actions unleashed by the YSRCP and their stooges in the Government. ‘Let us fight back together. Our party and I will stand by you wholeheartedly and unconditionally in this fight against high handedness,” assured Chandrababu.
Vallabaneni has claimed that his resignation step taken is to safeguard his constituency people from vindictive politics. A few days ago, a case was filed against Vamsi by the Hanuman junction police for distributing house sites with the forged signature of the tahsildar on land registration documents. Venkata Rao Yarlagadda, YSRCP MLA candidate from Gannavaram has registered a complaint.
