New Delhi: Nara Lokesh who was recently recognised as the Young Global Leader-2019 has taken part in India Economic Summit organised by World Economic Forum on Thursday. The young leader spoke about the first of its kind initiatives taken up their government for developing the infrastructure and drinking water facilities in villages of Andhra Pradesh. He also shared his journey as the Minister of Panchayati Raj and IT for AP. At the summit in Delhi on Thursday, Lokesh participated as one of the panel members in the discussion on ‘Challenges faced by the Indian economy and the steps to be taken to strengthen it’. He emphasised on the need to integrate data to provide better services for citizens. Lokesh also participated in the discussion on the need to concentrate on low-cost waste management techniques.
