Amidst the reports which claimed that India in October crossed peak, India from the past few days has been recording a dip in corona graph. The country which is now the second worst-corona hit nation in the world on Tuesday recorded as many as 46,790 new infections taking the total caseload to 75,97,063.
Of the total cases registered, 7,48,538 are active cases while 67,33,328 people have been recovered, according to the health ministry. According to Union health ministry data, the Indian states including the union territories logged 587 fatalities in the last 24 hours while the death toll climbs to 1,15,197.

A total of 1,486 new COVID-19 cases, 1,891 discharges and seven deaths were reported in the state, as of the health bulletin released on Tuesday. The State Health Department said that the total count of coronavirus cases has gone up to 2,24,545 including 2,02,577 recoveries and 1,282 deaths. The active cases currently stand at 20,686.
Meanwhile, for the first time in nearly two months, Andhra Pradesh saw its coronavirus tally grow by less than 3,000 in a day, on Monday. 4,303 patients were cured and discharged from hospitals, taking the overall recoveries to 7.44 lakh.
