Days after the Mega-Rajasekhar ruckus at Movie Artists’ Association (MAA) diary launch blurted out the internal differences, the executive committee gave a shock of sorts to Rajasekhar. The executive committee on Monday accepted the resignation of the senior actor to the vice-president post. The association members who called for an emergency meeting on Saturday decided to constitute a disciplinary and reconciliation committee which was reportedly initiated on the suggestion of Chiranjeevi. The committee unanimously elected Krishnam Raju as the chief advisor and actors Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu and Jayasudha Kapoor as the members of the committee which would address the issues in the association.
Upon which, the newly formed committee on Monday decided to accept the resignation submitted by Rajasekhar hours after the spat which went live. MAA-2020 diary inauguration which was held on Thursday housed the spat with long-time loggerheads Chiranjeevi and Rajasekhar getting into a heated debate in the event held in a hotel. While the seniors like Krishnam Raju & his wife, Mohan Babu and Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Jayasudha were seated on the dais, an ugly spat broke out as Rajasekhar continuously tried to interrupt Chiranjeevi’s speech. While a few of the dignitaries tried to grab the mic from Rajasekhar he angrily walked away from the event.
