The results of Movie Artists Association(MAA) polls announced on Sunday have left many cinephiles in shock. The results also left a bad taste for anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj who contested as the executive committee (EC) member from Prakash Raj’s panel.
While the early reports claimed the thumping victory of the glamorous anchor-turned-actress, the ultimate final results showed that she lost the elections. Anasuya who remained tightlipped for almost 24 hours took to social media on Monday night to respond to a fan’s tweet asking what went wrong.
😂 Kshaminchali.. okka vishayam gurtochi tega navvochestundi.. meeto panchukuntunna emanukovoddey..! Ninna “athadhika majority” “bhaari majority” to gelupu ani.. eeroju “lost” “otami” antunnaru.. raathriki raathri enjaruguntundabba🧐 🤔

The actress gave a sarcastic touch for her tweets questioning how the results might have changed over a night. She then darted a sharp question for the election officers as of why it took almost 2 days to count 600 votes.
Anasuya after the results were confirmed took to Twitter to post that she had learned lessons. “I never, ever get involved in politics. With politics, you are not allowed to be honest. I don’t have time to deal with that. I would rather work with kids,” she posted the message.
