Claimed to be a move to lift the spirits of women drinkers, Kamal Nath-led Madhya Pradesh government has decided to open women-friendly alcohol shops across the state. Reportedly, the outlets are supposed to be will be high-end liquor boutiques which sell foreign wine and whiskey brands. With these outlets which would start functioning in a couple of weeks aim to generate additional revenue of Rs 2,000 crores.
