Yadadri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple is all set for the re-establishment celebrations. The Mahakumbha consecration of the Swami’s temple, which is awaited by millions of devotees, will take place on the 28th of this month. Temple EO Geeta Reddy said that after that the darshans of the Swayambhuvas in the main temple will start. She spoke to the media on the occasion.
She said that as a prelude to special poojas, a non-partisan Yagya will be performed in the nursery for 21 to 7 days this month. EO said 108 reciters will be performing the ritual with a group of temple priests. It has been revealed that CM KCR will participate in the Mahakumbha conciliation. It was clarified that arrangements have been made for the consecration of all the temple towers college.
Worship services will be held at the Balalayam every morning and evening from 21 to 28. It was explained that after the consecration on the 28th, the ceremonial idols of the Swami of the Balalayam would be moved into the main hall in a procession. She said darshan of devotees would be allowed only after all the poojas were completed on that day. EO affirmed that not everyone will be invited to the temple inauguration.
EO said a food donation (anna daana) program is organized for the devotees in the mandapam under the Yadadri hill. Kalyana Katta and Pushkarinis were made available. Arrangements are being made in coordination with the revenue department, the district administration, and all other departments. Arrangements for the shrine at the nursery are said to be completed by Saturday. EO said that every devotee who comes for darshan will be geo-tagged.
