The present twists in Maharastra politics are no less than a suspense thriller with unexpected moves from the four main parties in the league. Minutes after the State’s Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari cleared the air by confirming the President’s rule recommendation news, Uddhav Thackeray announced that their party sought an urgent hearing in the case against bid to impose President’s Rule in Maharashtra. The party has objected the decision of the Governor to not extend the deadline given to Shiv Sena to prove they have the numbers to form the government. While the Governor rejected Uddhav’s plea to give three more days to form the government, the former had given time to the NCP till 8.30 PM today to prove that it has the numbers.

However, Congress which remained as foes with Sena until the elections held numerous meetings and calls with the leads of Sena seems to be reluctant to form government in the alliance. Many of the political analysts opined that Congress and its ally NCP are deliberately delaying their response as Sena sought support.
