The open flare between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena on Monday took a drastic turn with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation(BMC) carried out demolition at her property in Mumbai.
Claiming to be an illegal construction, Vinayak Vispute, the assistant municipal commissioner stated that further action will be taken after the demolition.
According to the BMC officials had issued a notice to Ranaut over several structural violations carried out in her office while asking her to respond within 24 hours. They also claimed with no response from the actress they have started the demolition works.

However, Bombay High Court stayed the demolition works asking the BMC to file a reply on the actor’s petition. It is as learnt that Kangana had approached the court after the challenging the notice issued by the Mumbai civic body. The structure in question is Ranaut’s Manikarnika Films Private Limited office, which is a ground plus two-storey building.
Sharing pictures of BMC officials demolishing parts of her Pali Hill office, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media accounts to repeated her “my Mumbai is PoK now” remark. Meanwhile, the actress along with her sister Rangoli landed in Mumbai with Y-plus security.
