Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mahindra Group has yet again won the hearts of netizens with his announcement of a thoughtful and heartfelt gift for a mother-son duo. Sharing the story of 40-year-old Krishna Kumar who is on a voyage with his mom Chudarathana on a 19-year-old Bajaj Chetak visiting various temples across India, Anand offered to gift the man a Mahindra KUV100 NXT for his journey ahead.
Krishna Kumar, the native of Mysuru has travelled a total of 48,100 KMs with his mom till date, seeking to fulfil his mother’s wish to visit famous temples. The duo travelled through Kerala, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra and also a few temples in Nepal and Bhutan. The travel stories of Krishna Kumar and her mother has impressed a lot of people across the country and grit and determination in no time reached to Anand Mahindra through Manoj Kumar, the CEO of Naandi Foundation & ARAKU Coffee. In a reply to Manoj’s tweet, Anand announced that he would like to offer a Mahindra KUV 100 NXT so he can drive his mother in a car on their next journey.
