Summary of Revanth Reddy’s comments:
– Yesterday Patel…Today Ramanujacharya
– Statues in India are made in China
– Attacks on Make in India scheme!
– Revanth’s direct question as to whether this is treason
Make In India, the most ambitious scheme brought in by the NDA government at the Center. It was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi on September 25, 2014. Its main objective is to promote companies in the country. Manufacturing products locally. But, the opposition alleges that this Make In India scheme is not being implemented properly in many respects. Recently, TPCC chief Revanth Reddy’s criticism has once again started the debate on this.
Rewanth claims that the BJP and the TRS are conspiring together to keep Congress from growing in Telangana. Speaking to the media on Monday, he highlighted the issue and mentioned ‘Make in India’. He compared Modi’s and Bandi Sanjay’s patriotism to a ladysfinger (minimal). Some examples of this are also mentioned. He spoke about the Patel statue which has been set up very ambitiously in Gujarat. Modi, who is known as ‘Make In India’, said that he had set up a statue made by a Chinese company.
There was widespread criticism at the time that handing over the most ambitious project of the country to a foreign country, even to a country as ugly as we are. In fact, the contract to build the Patel statue was awarded to a Swadeshi company, but it eventually subcontracted the same to Jiangxi Tokine Metal Handicrafts Company Limited of China. Revanth also spoke about the statue of Ramanujacharya set up in Muchhinthal.
Revanth Reddy’s question is how could Modi come to unveil the statue of Ramanujacharya made in China. He called Modi a traitor.
The Bhagavad Gita millennium celebrations will be held from February 2 to 14 at the Chinjiyar Ashram in Muchhinthal. A 216-foot statue is to be erected. Festivities are planned for 12 days. Chinna Jiyar Swamy invited dignitaries, including the President, Vice President, and Prime Minister, to attend the ceremony. KCR, who visited the ashram on Sunday, directed the authorities to make all arrangements for the celebrations. Revanth asked if Modi was patriotic about how he would come to unveil a statue made by a Chinese company if arrangements were being made for it.
The statue of Ramanujacharya was made by Chinese experts. The spare parts for the statue, which stands on a 4-foot-tall building, were imported from China. 700 tons of gold, gold, silver, copper, lead, and iron is used in it. Congress leaders have accused Modi of doing nothing but banning Chinese apps to check Chinese provocations across the border. It has been criticized for misleading the public by erecting statues made by Chinese companies.
