Rajinikanth’s ’Darbar’ which is all set for its grand release on 9th January 2020 is now in some serious troubles. Upon the petition filed by a Malaysian film distribution company, Madra High Court has issued show-cause notices to Lyca Productions, the makers of Rajini’s next.
Into details, DMY Creations, a Malaysia based entertainment company has claimed to issue a loan to the tune of Rs 12 crore at a rate of 30% p.a. to Lyca for 2.0,2018 release. The amount has now piled up to Rs 23.70 crore upon which DMY Creations has sought for a ban on Darbar’s release until the dues are settled.
