“Don’t I have a personal life? I am only a minister outside, not at home,” Telangana minister Mallareddy denied the news. Earlier, all the parties were busy campaigning for the by-elections, criticizing opponents. The by-polls are causing criticism and accusations among the leaders. Leaders are increasingly lashing out at them for any small excuses. Recently, there were large news stories in the media that Minister Mallareddy had tried to entice the voters by pouring alcohol on them. Photos of Minister Mallareddy holding a glass of alcohol and a full bottle in his hand have gone viral on social media. In the Munugodu campaign, there were a lot of controversies when pictures of the minister drinking alcohol were pushed.
Minister Mallareddy recently responded to this news. “Is it wrong to drink alcohol at a relative’s house after the campaign is over?” Mallareddy asked. He said that the rival parties are making unnecessary noise by making his photos viral. The minister said that he does not see anything wrong with this. Mallareddy said that the BJP is saying that they will file a complaint with the Election Commission, and if necessary, they are ready for a CBI investigation. The minister said that at a feast held at his relative’s house, he had offered alcohol to people.
Earlier there were reports in the media that Minister Mallareddy tried to lure the voters by giving them alcohol. He said that they don’t have the karma to lure the voters by giving them free alcohol and people were by default following TRS. He said that he did not give alcohol to the voters but only to their relatives. He made it clear that he went to his brother-in-law’s house for a function and served it to known people.
“Can you be a minister and serve alcohol like that?” they are trolling. “Don’t I have a personal life?” He asked. “Aren’t the people who are accusing me of taking alcohol in their homes? Are their photos going viral in the media like this?” He expressed his impatience. He said that he is a minister only outside, he has a personal life at home. He was furious that the BJP was making unnecessary noise as if he had done something he should not have done and this was not right. Minister Mallareddy clarified that in the viral photos, there is an empty plate in front of him and he had not even consumed alcohol till then.
