The fifth day of the state assembly sessions heated up with the Marshall abuse allegations made on TDP leaders. The ruling party in Assembly played the video footage of the TDP leaders’ ruckus at the Assembly gate on Thursday while the Marshalls tried to stop the opposition leaders barging into the premises.
A verbal war broke out between the ruling and opposition parties as the Chief Minister raised objections over the opposition chief abusing the chief Marshall with unparliamentary language. He also demanded the Speaker to take disciplinary action against TDP leaders for man-handling the security staff who tried to stop them. While a few of the ruling party leaders allegedly that Nara Lokesh grabbed the throat of one of the Marshalls, the opposition leaders took no chance to hit back the allegations made. TDP senior MLA Gorantla Buchaiya Chaudhary lashed out on ruling party leaders of the necessity to stop the leaders who are holding respectable cadres like MLA and MLC.
On the other hand, in a talk with the media outside the Assembly, TDP chief Chandrababu breathed fire over the injustice being done to the opposition leaders in the house. He brushed off the allegations that he abused one of the marshalls and stated that the YSRCP MLAs are deliberately cornering them.
