“Miracles have happened in politics, and will continue to happen.” This recent statement is now trending or rather shook both the political and film fraternities in Tamil Nadu. While the media is all busy with ‘Ungal Naan’, an event to celebrate actor Kamal Haasan’s 60 years journey in the Tamil film industry, ‘Thalaiva’ Rajinikanth dropped a bomb of sorts taking a jibe at Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami. Lauding Kamal’s Commendable journey at the event, Rajini made some interesting comment which came as a hard hit to the ruling party.
“Though they won, least did the state expect that Edappadi Palaniswami’s government would last this long. Many of the political analysts predicted his rule to last not more than two weeks. But see miracles do happen. And they continue to happen,” said Rajini in his own style. While media, political and film biggies fell in splits decoding his statement, it has received a huge cheer from the audiences at the event. Many have come to the conclusion that Rajini referred to his pal Kamal’s political journey which might end up at CM chair, while a few went gaga implying it to Rajini’s party launch. Rajini also spoke about his relationship with Kamal saying “Our bond will remain the same come what may.” And urged the fans to maintain the same.
