Bhuvanagiri Member of Parliament Komatireddy Venkata Reddy commented that the state budget is only a juggernaut of numbers and not even two lakhs have been spent in the previous state budget of Rs 2, 90,000 crores. He inaugurated a private hotel in Ibrahimpatnam of Rangareddy district on Thursday. Speaking later, he accused the Telangana government’s budget allocation of being an ‘election budget’.
He said that the number of houses to be built for the poor has not been included in the budget. “Earlier they said five lakh houses, now they say three lakhs,” he added. He said that a situation has arisen where it is not known whether these will be given or not.
He said that the government has completely failed in the matter of Mission Bhagiratha. Minister Jagadishwar Reddy said that the villagers are facing severe problems in their own village without drinking water and affirmed that one can go there to check and that he is the witness.
During the ‘Hath Se Hath’ Jodo Yatra he made it clear that after the Parliament sessions are over on the 13th of this month, he will undertake either a bus yatra or a bike yatra covering Nalgonda, Mahbub Nagar, Khammam, and Rangareddy districts.
Komati Reddy Venkata Reddy said that the time for the election is short and he will do a full bike yatra in 12 constituencies soon, adding that Revanth Reddy was also doing padayatra and traveling in a car where there were no people.
