The High Court has adjourned the hearing of the writ appeal in the Farm House case till tomorrow. A bench headed by CJ heard the government’s writ appeal against the single bench judgment. Dushyant Dave argued on behalf of the government.
Gandra Mohan continued his arguments on behalf of Rohit Reddy after the lunch break. The lawyer for Rohit Reddy told the bench that the lower court had given the verdict without issuing any notice to his client. He said that while the SIT investigation is going on in this case, it is not appropriate to cancel it and hand it over to the CBI.
Sitarammurthy, who argued on behalf of the proposed accused, told the court that the writ appeal petition was not maintainable. He mentioned that there is no possibility of a writ appeal on the criminal revision petition. He clarified that they will have to go to the Supreme Court on the revision petition.
On the other hand, Dushyant Dave, who argued on behalf of the government, brought to the attention of the judge the objections on the single bench judgment. It was heard by the court that only after the evidence was submitted to the court, it went into the hands of CM KCR. Dave explained to the judge that pilot Rohit Reddy had told the court that he would have given evidence to CM KCR, but that did not happen.
