CBI has once again written a letter to Telangana CS regarding the MLA purchase case. In the letter, the CBI has asked to give the details of the FIR related to the case. So far, CBI has written to CS five times.
In a letter dated the 6th of this month, the CBI has asked to provide the details of the FIR registered at the Moinabad police station. Delhi SP Suman Kumar of CBI wrote a letter after the verdict of the High Court Bench.
The High Court has issued a verdict suspending the SIT investigation in this case. On December 26 last year, the High Court passed orders handing over the investigation of this case to the CBI. Copies of the judgment came out on December 28.
CBI wrote a letter to the CS on December 31 after the judgment documents reached the CBI office. In the letter, they asked to provide the details of the FIR registered in Meinabad PS as per the orders of the High Court.
After that, CBI officials wrote letters four times on the 5th, 9th, 11th, and 26th of last month. But CBI did not provide details of CS. The Telangana government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the High Court verdict in this case.
The Supreme Court said that the hearing on this petition will be held on the 17th of this month. On the other hand, it seems that the CBI is thinking of taking the steps of the High Court as the government is not providing the details of the FIR registered in Mainabad PS.
