The Telangana High Court has adjourned the hearing on the ED investigation in the case of poaching of BRS MLAs to the 28th of this month. It was adjourned on Rohit Reddy’s petition to stop the ED investigation in this case. Rohit Reddy’s lawyer sought time for arguments on the ED counter. The High Court adjourned the hearing to the 28th of this month.
This case, which has many twists and turns, has already reached the CBI. The CJ bench has already dismissed the appeal filed by the Telangana government to quash the judgment given by the single bench and to ensure that the SIT investigation continues as usual.
The bench commented that this petition has no merit. The High Court said that considering the seriousness of the crime involved in the case of baiting MLAs, the single bench had ordered a CBI investigation and could not take a decision on it.
