Another important development took place on Wednesday in the case of poaching of BRS MLAs, which created a sensation in Telugu states as well as across the country. The Telangana government filed an appeal in the High Court in the case. It challenged the single-judge verdict asking the government to hand over the case to the CBI.
CJ Justice Ujjal Bhuyan’s bench heard the Telangana government’s appeal. Recently, a single judge has issued orders to cancel the SIT investigation and transfer it to the CBI.
In the petition, the Telangana government has sought to stop the transfer of the case registered at the Moinabad police station to the CBI. Appealed in the High Court against the annulment of G.O 63. The government filed a petition in the division bench to continue the SIT investigation and sought annulment of the single bench judgment.
However, the Single Judge has recently issued orders to cancel the investigation of the SIT investigating the MLA’s case and transfer it to the CBI. With respect to this case, the state government submitted G.O. 63 stating that the SIT will investigate the case, the same has been now canceled by the single-judge bench.
