It is known that YSRCP MLA Roja found herself in a fix while she was on her way to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of village secretariat at KBR Puram. About 50 activists of the ruling YSR Congress Party reportedly stopped the convoy of the Nagiri MLA raising slogans against her. The activists heckled her contending that their MLA is neglecting her own party people who had worked for her victory during elections. The situation came under control after the local police intervened and tried to pacify the cadre.

However, the APIIC chairperson slammed the main heads behind the incident with police cases. Roja lodged a complaint at the nearest police station based on which the police took five YSRCP activists under custody. Speaking to the media, she stated that the activists who attacked her were the people who backstabbed her in the previous elections. She alleged this move to be a planned attack from the people from Ammula Group.
