In a new twist to the KCR-led Telangana government, governor Tamilisai Soundararajan made crucial comments on MLC Kaushik Reddy’s nomination under Governor’s quota. While it has already been a month since the KCR cabinet approved the recommendation to send Kaushik’s name to Governor, the file is still waiting for approval for more than a month.
Further complicating things, the Governor has maintaining rock-solid silence over the issue ever since which was broken on Wednesday. Stating that she is not happy with TRS’ nomination, Tamilisai made it clear that she want more time to take the decision. She further stated that is taking the advice of legal experts in the matter for approval.
Sources have it that Tamilisai in contemplating various police cases against Kaushik Reddy to give approval. The statements came close in the wake of speculation circulating that everything is not so well between the CM and the Governor.
