Modi Govt. failed on Womens’ Bill, says Kavitha
Kavitha, BRS MLC has accused the Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that it has failed on Womens’ Reservation Bill. A round table meeting was held on Wednesday, in which she has participated. While participating in that meeting, Kavitha has clarified that she has not committed any wrong doing. She has mentioned that although the Indian Constitution has provided equal opportunities for women the same is not being implemented.

Kavitha alleged that whoever questions Modi, they shall experience the same scenarios as that of hers. She has alleged that initially the business houses would be targeted and later on they want to take control of them.
Kavitha announced that their fight for the passing of the Womens’ Reservation Bill will be continued till the bill gets Parliament’s approval. She was of the opinion that the central government has failed. She has told that the Congress party should also come forward for the passing of this bill. Kavitha has clarified that she would be attending the proceedings any number of times with regard to the liquor scam case.
Earlier, her petition to the court to get interim orders on the ED’s notice to her directing her to attend the proceedings on 16th March 2023 from the Supreme Court, in the Delhi liquor scam case got back fired, as the court has not accepted with her plea. Kavitha is expected to attend the ED’s proceedings on 16th March 2023.
