The High Court adjourned the hearing on the BJP’s petition regarding the Moinabad farmhouse case to Monday. The court has issued notices to 8 defendants in the case and the government has filed a counter.
The judge adjourned the hearing to Monday after the rest of the defendants sought time to reply. On the other hand, the High Court Registry was ordered to allow the video clippings submitted by the government to the court.
BJP has approached the court alleging that they have tried to buy MLAs and are trying to tarnish the reputation of their party. The petition stated that TRS had hatched a conspiracy because they could not see the support their party was getting in the background of the Munugodu by-elections.
Farmhouse sought a direction to hand over the case to the CBI or the sitting judge. The court heard the petition on Saturday and issued notices to 8 respondents. It had earlier issued an order staying the police investigation in the farmhouse case till the end of the by-election.
The further hearing was adjourned till today. On the request of the defendants, the High Court, which conducted the latest hearing today, adjourned the case to Monday.
