The SIT has intensified its investigation into the MLA purchase case. The main accused in the case have already been arrested and the police are searching for the rest of the evidence. In this order, SIT officials conducted searches in Kerala, Karnataka, and Haryana along with Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The police are working to get information about Ramachandra Bharti, who is believed to be the key accused in the case. To this extent, police have already conducted searches at Ramachandra Bharti’s residence in Faridabad, Haryana.
But now authorities are focusing more on searches in Kerala than in Faridabad. The SIT team conducted inspections in Kochi, Kerala on Monday. Officials conducted inspections in Kollam on Tuesday.
SIT thinks that the information found in Kerala will be crucial in taking the investigation forward from Ramachandra Bharati. In this order, SIT has established itself in Kerala. Last month, they were caught in a sting operation by the police luring TRS MLAs into a farmhouse in Moinabad.
It seems that Ramachandra Bharati spoke on the phone with Tushar from Kerala in the farmhouse. In this order, the police are trying to determine the role of Tushan in this. It seems that the SIT is of the opinion that strong evidence is needed to include Tushar as an accused in this case. This is the reason behind the SIT moving ahead with the aim of arresting and interrogating Jagguswamy, the Kerala doctor who introduced Tushar to Ramachandra Bharti. That’s why the SIT team, which hunted for him on Monday, also conducted searches in Kollam on Tuesday.
There are reports that the landlord has already been taken into custody. It seems that the SIT in Kollam is searching for some others related to this case. But Jagguswami ran away after seeing the arrival of the police and the hunt for him going on in Kollam.
