While it has been to the known knowledge that Jr Akkineni a.k.a Akhil teamed up with director Surender Reddy for his next, the unit which has been looking for a perfect cast reportedly made a fitting choice for the film.
Sources have it that the direction department is in talks with Mollywood superstar Mohan Lal for Akhil’s fifth project which is touted to be a spy-thriller.
Film Nagar circles are rife with reports that Mohan Lal has been offered to play the role of a spy in this espionage thriller produced by Anil Sunkara.
While the team confirmed that they approached the veteran actor, this would be the second straight Telugu film for Mohan Lal after ‘Janata Garage.
Grapevine is that Akhil will also be seen as a spy and the film’s story is inspired by the popular American action thriller franchise. Going by the pictures posted by the star on social media, Akhil has been hitting the gym and will be seen in a beefed-up avatar.
