It is to the known knowledge that Congress MP A. Revanth Reddy was arrested and is under remand in the Charlapalli Jail for the case registered over the allegations for flying drones upon KTR’s farmhouse. On Tuesday, rumours went rife that the leader would be released any time soon.
Meanwhile, followers and supporters of Congress MP A. Revanth Reddy today staged a protest in Gandhi Bhavan. Reacting to which police resorted to arresting a few of the supporters which led to high tensions. Raising slogans against KTR and TRS, Revanth’s followed lashed out on TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy for turning a blind eye over Revanth’s arrest.
On this note, a section of followers said that they are making arrangements for a grand welcome to their leader on Tuesday at Charlapally Jail. It was also learnt that Rachakonda CP Ramesh ordered to impose Section 144 in the premises of Jail. Situations in Revanth’s own constitution Kodangal also heated up with many of Revanth’s supporters arrests.
