In yet another setback for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s family, the judge reserved orders on the bail of Aryan Khan and other accused in the matter, saying it is busy with other matters and will now hear the pleas on October 20. It means that if the court is free, then again the hearing will take place and till then, Aryan Khan has to stay in jail.
After hearing heated arguments by the prosecution for Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the defense lawyers, Special Judge VV Patil kept his verdict on the bail pleas of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Mumnum Dhamecha, who are among 20 nabbed so far in the sensational rave party raid of October 2, in abeyance for the next five days.
Reportedly, NCB had argued in the court that Aryan is indulged in illicit drug trafficking and was also involved in the ‘procuring, and distribution of drugs. “WhatsApp chats of Aryan reveal the accused was in touch with a foreign national for a bulk quantity of hard drugs,” the statement of anti-drugs agency read.
Aryan was arrested by the NCB on October 3, a day after the agency busted an alleged rave party and detained him.
