Not many days after the demolition of Praja Vedika racked up the buzz in state politics, APCRDA has yet again served notices giving one week’s deadline for the ex-CM to vacate his rented house on the banks of Krishna river. In accord with the fresh notices issued, the authority instructed to remove the unauthorised construction within seven days from the date of issuance. The order was issued on September 19 addressing the property owners Lingamaneni Ramesh and Madhira Venugopala Veerabhadra Rao.
The notices stated that the ground & first floors, the swimming pool and the dressing room on the first floor were constructed against the regulations. However, Lingamaneni Ramesh hit back stating that the construction has all sorts of permissions which were issued by Undavalli Panchayat back then when APCRDA hasn’t taken charge. He also made it clear that the swimming pool has River conservator permission. Seems like Jagan and his team are determined to demolish the construction by hook or by crook thereby bringing down the morale of TDP. We have to wait and see if APCRDA issues the same notices to more than 60 other construction on the same river bank.
