Humiliation in assembly by YSRCP leaders followed by an emotional press meet held by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Chandrababu Naidu has now set ripples in the state political circles. While the TDP fraternity came out condemning the comments on allegations on Chandrababu’s wife Bhuvaneswari, it is now the Nandamuri family that united for the Nandamuri daughter.
The entire Nandamuri family met in Balakrishna’s residence and supported Chandrababu Naidu. As MLA Balakrishna breathed fire on the ruling party leader not to drag women into politics, Nandamuri Rama Krishna, Suhasini, Lokeshwari and Vasundhara Devi joined the actor at a heated press meet at his residence. Young actor Tarak as well released a short video byte requesting everyone to stay away from verbal abuse and top criticizing some.

The war of words was triggered after Vamsi, in an interview with Sakshi TV in October, said, “He (Lokesh) doesn’t take after his father.” He went on to suggest that Lokesh ‘inherited’ Alimineti Madhava Reddy’s features. Madhava Reddy, a four-time MLA and minister, was killed in a landmine blast by the People’s War Group near Ghatkesar in 2000.
